We had lost about 250 feet, which isn't too bad, Mike said, except that losing 250 feet when you stall at 200 feet above ground level raises questions about what happens during the other 50 feet.

Customer Testimonials

"[The Skybolt] is probably the best combination sport/acro plane and will accomodate pilots of all sizes..."

"Larger than most homebuilt bipes, the Skybolt has been around long enough that all of its weak points have been discovered and fixed. It enjoys a good reputation for doing serious aerobatics into the advanced category and can handle 150hp to 260hp powerplants. More stable than most biplanes, it is probably the easiest one to land. It is definitely low demand as a taildragger. It is available in either plans form or in completed component form from the plans seller who gives excellent and practical builder support. This is probably the best combination sport/acro plane and will accomodate pilots of all sizes."
