The ultimate feeling is when you no longer feel that you are riding in an airplane. You feel like you, yourself, are flying... "I pull back on the stick, I push the power"... becomes, "I'm going that way," and you just, you do whatever it takes to go that way. The airplane literally becomes an extension of your body.
(Lt. Gen. Earl Brown, USAF [Ret.])

Customer Testimonials

"[The Skybolt] is probably the best combination sport/acro plane and will accomodate pilots of all sizes..."

"Larger than most homebuilt bipes, the Skybolt has been around long enough that all of its weak points have been discovered and fixed. It enjoys a good reputation for doing serious aerobatics into the advanced category and can handle 150hp to 260hp powerplants. More stable than most biplanes, it is probably the easiest one to land. It is definitely low demand as a taildragger. It is available in either plans form or in completed component form from the plans seller who gives excellent and practical builder support. This is probably the best combination sport/acro plane and will accomodate pilots of all sizes."

Every now and then, we're really blown away by someone doing something really "out there" or off the beaten path. Hugh Russel of Ontario, Canada has a "Pitts" project that certainly falls into that category... a 2/3 scale simulator!
