Here's a quick "bonus feature" to wrap up our Sun 'N Fun coverage... Aaron took some neat photos while he rode along during one of the showcase fly-by sessions and Mike Jones got some good shots of Jacquie B. and Elaine Larsen.
Elaine Larsen poses with her jet-powered dragster (and she's wearing her Piloti shoes, of course!)
Elaine gets ready for a Skybolt ride with Barrett.
Elaine had a great time... in fact, she's the first person we can remember who didn't ever get to the point of having had "enough" of the hard acro during a Yellowbird ride despite Barrett "letting loose"! It must be from driving the dragster... going from 0 to 400 mph in 5 seconds must really build up one's tolerance to g forces and the need for adrenaline!

Airshow performer Jacquie B stops by the tent... she's another Piloti convert.
Jacquie is a nice gal, and a heck of a pilot to boot.

The Coloreyes sunglasses crew were in the booth across from us. They stayed busy throughout the show.
A loud shoe convention? The Coloreyes crew likes the red Pilotis because their sunglasses make them look even brighter than they already are.
The forward visibility isn't great, but it's actually better than a lot of other taildraggers.
Barrett likes to climb out steeply. The Yellowbird will just keep going up and up and up...
Turning in for a pass over the field.
Looking north from the "back side" of the fly-by pattern. On the ground, the Yellowbird still sounds very impressive right now.
A couple of models pose with Barrett's Pitts. Taking all these photos is a tough job, but someone's got to do it.
Fast cars and flying machines... really, what more could one want?
